Itinerary
The first leg of the journey starts cruising through the Hervey Bay Marine Park in search of some unique marine life. Many turtle, dolphin, dugong and aquatic bird species make this place of wonderment their home.
Arrive at Sandy Cape at the top end of World Heritage listed Fraser Island where you will be taken by tender across to the picturesque beach for a 1.2km hike up to the historical Sandy Cape lighthouse. Old army bunkers, Grave sites and turtle hatchery where your experienced tour guide will brief you on the history of this magnificent place.
On the way back down be sure to have your cameras ready for the natural beauty and amazement of towering sand dunes and deserted beaches, where the only footprints you will see are your own.
It's then time to board the boat again for a sightseeing cruise along the beach for a lunch on the way to magnificent Wathumba Creek.
Once you arrive at this un-spoilt crystal clear creek, take some time to relax, simply for a swim or to explore nature at its best by foot or kayak.
The Tasman Venture also has a 6m rigid hull inflatable called Tasman Venture Extreme that is available for a truly exhilarating ride along the surrounding untouched beaches and remote area's of beautiful Fraser Island.
The last leg of the journey is a cruise along the magical Arch Cliffs where sandscapes of every colour surround you for afternoon tea before you embark on your way home to Hervey Bay.
